Yiorgos Rigakos’ interest in public policy began after graduating from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. With a background spanning technology consulting, real-estate advisement, and organizational analytics, he brings a results-driven and analytical approach to supporting policy initiatives and advocacy work.
While in College Park, Yiorgos worked with several local organizations to help them advance their missions. He supported TerpThon, a nonprofit raising funds for children and families fighting pediatric illnesses, and developed an internal database to strengthen operations for the University of Maryland Survivor Organization.
Outside of work, Yiorgos enjoys staying active at the gym, encouraging others to pursue healthy lifestyles, exploring local restaurants, spending time at the beach, and cheering on the Detroit Lions.
